Shaun received an AB from Princeton University in 2002 and an MFA from the University of Notre Dame in 2004, and also studied for a semester at the University of Oxford in England.

From 2004 through 2007, he worked at a top-flight literary agency, then in the editorial departments of Carroll & Graf Publishers and Da Capo Press in New York.  He joined Dillon Energy in Fall 2007 as a project manager.
